Two people, two photos, one rap battle
An AI rap battle video puts two people from two separate photos on the same stage and has them rap back and forth. Each person takes a turn while the other reacts, with AI-written lyrics, vocals and a beat. It's a fun way to settle a friendly rivalry, roast your best friend, or make a duet with your partner.
How it works on AI Rap Video Pro:
- Choose Duo. You'll upload one photo for the performer on the left and one for the performer on the right.
- Upload two separate photos. One clear photo of each adult, both of whom agreed to it. Phone selfies are fine.
- Write one shared topic. Say who starts, what the rivalry is and how it ends. Up to 120 characters.
- Pick the rap language and shape, then pay. One video costs $12.99 and usually takes 3 to 4 minutes. You download an MP4.

Rap battle ideas by who's battling
Keep it to one rivalry and a friendly ending. Each topic below fits in the 120-character topic box.
Best friends
Rap battle: Jess says Mia is always late, Mia says Jess can't cook. End as best friends.
The classic. Pick one harmless habit each.
Couples
A playful rap battle: Chris hogs the blanket, Taylor steals the fries. End with a love note.
Great for an anniversary or Valentine's Day. Keep it sweet underneath the jokes.
Brother and sister
Siblings rap battle: Sam says Ana takes forever in the bathroom, Ana says Sam eats all the snacks
Old sibling rivalries make the best material. Keep anything embarrassing out if you'll post it.
Coworkers
Office rap battle: Priya swears by spreadsheets, Jordan swears by sticky notes. Teamwork wins.
Keep it about work habits, not people's jobs or performance, and check before sharing in a team channel.
Roommates
Roommate rap battle: Leo never does the dishes, Max plays guitar at 2am. They call a truce.
Household chores are perfect, harmless battle topics.
Sports or team rivals
Friendly rap battle between two fans of rival teams. Trash talk about last season, then a handshake.
Rival teams, rival video games, cats vs. dogs: any light rivalry works.
How to make it sound like a battle
The AI follows your topic, so spell out the structure:
- Say it's a battle: "rap battle", "trade verses", "back and forth"
- Give each person one jab: one habit or rivalry per person is plenty for 15 seconds
- Give it an ending: "end as best friends", "call a truce", "a handshake"
The photo you upload first is the performer on the left; the second is on the right. Mention them in that order in your topic. The AI decides the exact lines, so a back-and-forth structure is a direction, not a guarantee. You can't choose the exact voices or beat yet, or supply word-for-word lyrics.
Keep the battle friendly
A rap battle is only fun if both people laugh. A few simple rules:
- Both people must agree to their photo being used, and to the joke.
- Tease habits, not looks, weight, money, relationships or anything private.
- Only adults can be in the photos; no celebrities or strangers.
- Watch the whole clip before sharing; AI can change faces, hands and words.

Pick two photos that work together
Use one clear photo per person, each with an evenly lit face and a visible mouth. Avoid group shots, sunglasses and hands in front of the face. Similar framing (both head-and-shoulders, both facing the camera) helps the two performers look like they're on the same stage. The photo checklist has more tips.
Watch two real duo raps
Both of these are tests we ran ourselves with fictional adult photos, not customer orders:
- The friendly roast duo is a street-style English duo built around a friendly tease, the closest to a rap battle.
- The birthday duo has two people taking turns on a birthday toast.
Each page shows the input photos, the topic and what we noticed in review. For preparation details, see the rap duo guide.
