How it works on AI Rap Video Pro:
- Upload a photo. One clear photo of an adult who's OK with it, or a photo of yourself (see the surprise tip below).
- Write a short topic. The occasion, their name and one detail everyone will recognize. Up to 120 characters.
- Pick the rap language and shape. English, German, French, Spanish or Mandarin Chinese; 9:16 vertical for phones or 16:9 for a TV.

Funny or sweet? Set the tone in the topic
The AI follows the mood you describe, so say it plainly: "funny", "light roast" and "always late" for laughs; "sweet", "thank you" and "proud of you" for heart. You can't choose the exact voice or beat yet, or give word-for-word lyrics. Names can come out slightly differently, so write the exact message in your card or text.
Want it to be a surprise?
Our rules require permission from anyone whose photo you use, which can make surprises tricky. Two easy options:
- Put yourself in the video. Upload your own selfie and rap the message to them: "A birthday rap from me to my sister Ana…". No permission needed but yours.
- Ask someone close to them. For a group gift, the person organizing can check that the recipient is fine with AI photo videos before you start.
Never use a photo of someone who wouldn't want it, and don't post a video of them publicly without their OK.
How to give it
The finished video is an MP4 you download, so you can deliver it however you like:
- text it or send it on WhatsApp or iMessage,
- drop it in the family or friends group chat,
- play it on a TV or projector at the party (use 16:9),
- post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts with their permission (use 9:16).
Videos stay in your account for 30 days, so download the ones you want to keep. There's no gift card or "send to someone else" option. You make the video and share the file yourself.

Pick a photo that looks like them
Use a clear, front-facing photo with even light and a visible mouth. Avoid group photos, sunglasses and hands in front of the face. The photo checklist has more tips. AI can still change faces, hands and words, so watch the whole clip with sound before you give it.

Is this a good last-minute gift? Yes. It usually takes 3 to 4 minutes after payment, so it works on the day.
Can I make a funny video gift with my friend's face? Yes, if your friend is an adult who agrees to it.
Can I make one with my kid's photo? No. Everyone in the photo must be an adult, so it's not for videos of children.
