Make your picture rap in four steps
Want to make a photo rap? Upload one picture of a person and AI turns it into a 15-second video of them rapping: a brand-new verse with AI-written lyrics, vocals and a beat, with their mouth and head moving to the rap. It works for a selfie, a picture of a friend, or two people together.
How it works on AI Rap Video Pro:
- Upload a picture. One clear photo of an adult who's OK with it. A phone selfie works.
- Tell it what to rap about. A short topic, like "Sam's birthday" or "my first day at a new job". Up to 120 characters.
- Pick the rap language and shape. English, German, French, Spanish or Mandarin Chinese; 9:16 vertical or 16:9.
- Pay and download. One video costs $12.99 and usually takes 3 to 4 minutes. You get an MP4 with no watermark.

What you can turn into a rapper
- Yourself: turn your selfie into a rapper for a self-introduction rap on TikTok, Reels or your profile.
- A friend or family member: a birthday rap, a friendly roast or a funny video gift.
- Two people: choose Duo, upload two photos and make them rap back and forth.
Whoever's in the photo must be an adult who agreed to it. Celebrity photos, strangers and photos of children aren't allowed.
Which pictures make the best rappers
The AI works best with a picture where the face is easy to read:
- one person, facing the camera,
- even light on the face, no strong shadows,
- eyes and mouth visible: no sunglasses, mask or hand over the mouth,
- sharp, not blurry or heavily filtered,
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB.
Head-and-shoulders or waist-up shots work well. A group photo makes it unclear who should rap; crop it or use a different picture. The photo checklist goes into more detail.
How realistic is the lip-sync?
The AI generates the vocals and the performance together, so the mouth, head and shoulders move with the rap and the result looks like the person is performing. It isn't perfect: fast lines can drift, hands and facial details can change, and lyrics aren't word-for-word. Watch the whole clip with sound before you share it.
What a photo rap can't do (yet)
Being clear about the limits saves you money:
- It can't rap your favorite song. You can't upload a song or a backing track; the AI writes a new verse and beat from your topic.
- It can't use exact lyrics. The topic guides the words; it isn't a script.
- It can't clone a voice. The vocals are AI-generated, not the person's real voice.
- You can't pick the voice or beat. The AI chooses them to match your topic.
- It's 15 seconds. Longer videos aren't available.
- It isn't free. Each video uses real processing time, so there's no free version.
Common questions
Can ChatGPT turn a photo into a rapper? ChatGPT can write rap lyrics, but it doesn't turn your photo into a finished rapping video. This tool does.
Is there a free picture-to-rapper video maker here? No. One video costs $12.99; packs and plans lower the price per video. See pricing.
Do I need to record anything? No. Just a photo and a short topic.
Can I post it on TikTok? Yes. Choose 9:16 vertical. You own the videos you make, so you can post them anywhere.
What if it doesn't work? If a render fails, the video goes back to your balance automatically.
